Introducing the work of the Born Free Foundation, Ian Redmond (Policy Advisor) and Laura Eastwood (Head of Community Engagement) will highlight the long history of the charity, followed by a deeper dive into its work.
Focusing on one of our closest animal relatives, the gorilla, Ian will touch on the essential role of large megafauna as gardeners of the forest before Laura showcases the current activities of the organisations’ Guardians of Dja Programme, supporting great ape conservation in Cameroon
