The World Premiere of a brand-new choral work, Five Acts of Human Kindness, by acclaimed British composer Bob Chilcott, with text by Charles Bennett, will be performed by the Burford School Community Choir as part of the grand final concert to the 2026 Festival.

Renowned for his uplifting, accessible choral music, Bob Chilcott has written for choirs around the world. This specially commissioned piece unites voices from all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the values of empathy, generosity, and shared humanity through music.

The concert will be introduced by presenter and singer Brian Kay, and the programme will also include well-loved choral music by John Rutter, together with orchestral pieces by Edward Elgar and other English composers.
