We are delighted to have a panel of three well know and successful horticulturists for our very own Gardeners’ Question Time.

Kate Burtonwood is currently Head Gardener at Trinity College, Oxford where she has led the restoration and replanting of the college gardens following extensive building work, and with a particular focus on sustainable gardening practices. In 2024 Gardens Illustrated Magazine recognised Kate as an inspiring role model and named her as one of twelve top female gardeners tending to remarkable gardens and making waves in the industry.

Harriet Rycroft, gained the wide knowledge for her book ‘Pots’ during her fourteen years as Head Gardener at the Wychford Pottery.  She subsequently worked for six years at The Cotswold Wildlife Park and wrote ‘The Cotswold Wildlife – A Celebration of the Gardens’ with the then Head Gardener, Tim Miles.  Her time now is largely spent experimenting and managing more than 700 pots on her own property.

Local designer, Sue Ashton, has over 25 years of experience in garden design.  A member of the Society of Garden Designers, Sue combines the use of traditional materials and imaginative planting to provide a contemporary edge with a timeless feel, overseeing large projects as well as providing advice on specific issues.

All three will be here to advise you on how to make your garden, pot or patch your perfect piece of heaven.
