Burt Bacharach Re-imagined

We’re delighted to welcome the brilliant ‘Burt Bacharach Experience’, an evening exploring the incredibly diverse compositions of Burt Bacharach, re-interpreted through the creativity of Musical Director, Alex Steele, on piano and the luscious vocals of Catherine Sykes – combining pop, jazz and blues. The Quintet also features Stuart Henderson, formerly principal trumpet of The Scots Guards Band in Her Majesty’s Household Division and now a popular figure on the jazz scene, supremely lyrical bassist Paul Jefferies and highly respected contemporary drummer Euan Palmer. 

Tonight, Alex Steele leads this new band, with a set of special arrangements of classic songs and themes. You’ll know the songs, but you won’t have heard them played like this before!
