We are so pleased that Crispian Steele Perkins, eminent trumpet soloist and specialist in historical trumpets, has agreed to come and share his knowledge and passion for trumpets at the festival.

Crispians collection of antique trumpets span from Tutenhamen to Sir Arthur Sullivan. He will not only be providing an explanation and demonstration of the instruments but also musical examples to illustrate the same, including the rare Echo-Cornet and Keyed Trumpet.

This is certain to be an entertaining and enlightening evening with Mozart, Handel, Gershwin and Mancini all featuring among the performance.
