Vermeer – A life lost and found

The paintings of Johannes Vermeer are some of the most beautiful in the history of art.  Yet, like the life of Vermeer himself, they are mysterious and for centuries have defied explanation.  Drawing on newly uncovered archival research, art historian and broadcaster, Andrew Graham-Dixon paints Vermeer in a new light, revolutionising our understanding of this enigmatic artist.

Andrew Graham-Dixon is a highly acclaimed art historian, art critic, author and braoadcaster.  He has held the position of chief art critic at both the Independent and The Telegraph and regularly appears on art documentaries for the BBC.
