Burford resident, Steve Colter, talks about local landowner Edmund Harman’s colourful career.  Harman became Henry VIII’s favourite Barber Surgeon – although this did not prevent from almost being executed!|

Steve describes the history of the Barber Surgeons, the alarming medical treatments they often used and tells the story of Henry VIII’s chronic leg problems.
