Fleetville Swing Band is a thriving community band from St Albans that brings together around 25 professional and amateur musicians to play swing, jazz, and dance music from over the last century.
The band was formed 12 years ago with a mission to bring “community through music”. It has played more than one hundred gigs across the south-east, in concerts and festivals including a tour in France. The band celebrated the end of the pandemic with a concert “Swinging into the Jet Age”, performing big band numbers amid vintage aeroplanes at the de Havilland Aircraft Museum.
The band will play in the garden of Whiteoaks, 163 The Hill and an Open Gardens Ticket gives access to their performance.
